Dim Sum Prep - Full-time

pDescription/ppThe primary responsibility of the Dim Sum Prep Cook is to prepare food items for distribution to our restaurant locations, following Hawkers Asian Street Fare restaurant procedures and standards./ppRequirements/ppstrongResponsibilities amp; Requirements:/strong/ppnbsp;/pulliPrepare pastry and dumplings with proper ingredients/liliPerform routine, repetitive tasks under the direction of management/liliClean work area, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.nbsp;/liliEnsure proper disposal of food waste/liliMaintain standards of food production and handling, cooking, housekeeping, sanitation and safety/liliBe a team player; help fellow employees at every opportunity/liliOther duties may be assigned as the need arises./liliMust have or be willing to obtain Food Handlers Certification and understand and follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards./lili1-2 years’ experience in a like or similar position./liliMust be at least 18 years of age./li/ulpstrongPhysical Demands:/strong/pulliMust be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat and reach above shoulder level./liliMust be comfortable working in an environment with exposure to extreme cold/hot temperatures./liliMust be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs./li/ul
