This role focuses on efficiently transporting freight between customer locations and terminals while maintaining a high standard of customer service and safety. Drivers will return home daily and enjoy consistent schedules./ph3br//h3h3strongEssential Duties and Responsibilities/strong/h3ullistrongLocal Pickup and Delivery: /strongTransport and deliver freight to customers and terminals in the assigned region./lilistrongCustomer Service:/strong Interact professionally with customers to ensure deliveries meet their expectations./lilistrongDocumentation: /strongAccurately complete delivery paperwork, including bills of lading and proof of delivery./lilistrongSafety Compliance: /strongAdhere to all safety protocols, including pre- and post-trip inspections and compliance with DOT regulations./lilistrongFreight Handling: /strongAssist with loading and unloading freight as necessary, using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks or lift gates./lilistrongCommunication: /strongMaintain clear and timely communication with dispatch regarding delays, issues, or changes in delivery routes./li/ulpRequirements/ph3strongMinimum Requirements/strong/h3ullistrongExperience:/strong 1+ years of Class A driving experience required./lilistrongEducation:/strong High School Diploma or GED preferred./lilistrongLicense:/strong Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions./lilistrongEndorsements:/strong Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)./lilistrongDriving Record:/strong Clean driving record is required./lilistrongScreening:/strong Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screen/li/ulh3strongWork Environment/strong/h3pCompensation: $25.00 - $29.00 an hour, based on experience/ph3br//h3h3strongWork Environment/strong/h3pThis is a full-time, at-will position with variable hours.
