The strongCNC Mill Machinist /strongwill machine parts and components utilizing a CNC Lathe per specifications on schedule and within budgeted hours. /span/p pnbsp;/p pspan style="font-size:12px"strongPOSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/span/p ul lispan style="font-size:12px"Properly set up and operate CNC Mill and machine parts/components to the required specifications. /span/li lispan style="font-size:12px"Make minor program edits on mill utilizing the HAAS Controller. /span/li lispan style="font-size:12px"Plan machining operations by studying work orders, blueprints, drawings, specifications, materials, machining parameters, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances. /span/li lispan style="font-size:12px"Properly identify, load, and utilize machining tools such as high-speed drill, carbide drill, insert drill, high speed drill, carbide drill, high speed tap, roll forming tap and boring head. /span/li lispan style="font-size:12px"Plan and perform a wide variety of diversified close tolerance mill operations./span/li lispan style="font-size:12px"Understand blueprints and drawings including symbols, welding symbols, material type and material shape. /span/li lispan style="font-size:12px"Perform basic machining math including fractional / decimal conversion, basic trigonometry (sin, cos), calculating dimensions and tolerances and determining missing linear or angular dimensions./span/li lispan style="font-size:12px"Lift and position workpiece on machine table and secure it./span/li lispan style="font-size:12px"Verify conformance of machined workpiece to specifications using measuring devices and make corrections as required./span/li lispan style="font-size:12px"Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
