Individual will work in conjunction with the social services team to monitor and provide appropriate basic services for families with children in a homeless shelter. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required./ppnbsp;/ppstronguESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:nbsp;/u/strong/pulliComplete intakes for new clients and provide orientation to the facility and DHS rules and regulations./liliServe meals and snacks to clients during meal times/liliMonitor sitting areas, laundry facilities and recreation room to ensure all clients are adhering to shelter rules/liliMaintain a clean and organized storage area/liliRelocate items and furniture as necessary/liliAssist security team as needed/liliCover operations desk when necessary/liliMaintain required documentation in case records in writing and computer database (CARES) and update clientrsquo;s records in accordance with governmental and agency policy./liliCollect and make copies of client identification and other documents necessary during initial intake./liliAssist clients in daily living skills and assist with cleaning, laundry, hygiene and etc./liliMonitor recreation supplies and develop and implement recreation activities for families./liliDistribute linen, towels, wash cloths and household items to clients upon request./liliAttend and participate in all required agency meetings: staff meetings, house meetings, in-service training and weekly/bi-weekly case review/liliPerform regular inspections of client units in conjunction with Case Management./liliRespond to incidents as appropriate/liliAnswer phones when necessary/liliAssist with all house operations/liliSolicit donations and maintain the clothing closet and food pantry./liliPerform all/other duties as directed by management. nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp;nbsp;/li/ulpnbsp;/ppstronguEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:/u/strong/ppHigh School Diploma or GED required.
