pstrongSummary/strong/p pWorks under the supervision of the Project Manager or designee with 95% standards of cleanliness within assigned tasks.  Candidates should be qualified janitors/cleaners with a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail./p pThe pay rate for this position is $18.50/hour + $5.36/hour HW. /p pstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities/strong/p ul liThe employee will follow all rules and regulations relative to entering and leaving the building./li liMust be physically able to perform all duties and tasks in the statement of work and shall be free of communicable diseases./li liMust be able to utilize cleaning products, chemicals, vacuums, mops, wringers, dust tools, and floor machines./li liWill report fires, hazardous conditions, and items in need of repair, such as dead lights, leaking faucets, toilet stoppage, etc./li liBasic cleaning tasks to include but not limited to the following:/li liSweep and mop floors/li liEmptying trash cans/li liCleaning surfaces/li liVacuuming waxing floors/li liRoutine heavy cleaning/li liMoving furniture as needed/li liDocument weekly and monthly tasks/li liAdherence to all applicable health and safety regulations /li liFollow established procedure methods for handling and mixing chemicals/li /ul p /p pstrongSupervision/strongbr /Must be able to work under minimal supervision.br /strong/strong/p p /p pstrongMUST be able to pass background check and drug testing./strong/p pstrong /strong/p pstrongMinimum Qualifications/strong/p ul liMust have 3 months of general experience of progressively responsible housekeeping/sanitation or other work that applies knowledge and skills to perform the position./li liHigh School diploma or equivalent./li /ul pstrongem /em/strong/p pstrongPreferred Qualifications/strong/p ul liKnowledge of janitorial methods, practices, materials, tools, occupational hazards and safety precautions of the janitorial work./li /ul pstrong /strong/p pstrongShareholder Preference/strong/p pPursuant to PL 93-638, as amended, preference will be given to qualified Ahtna Native Corporation Shareholders, Descendants, and Spouses in all phases of employment./p p /p pstrongCore Competencies/strong/p ul liAbility to follow written and oral instructions./li liDemonstrates good customer relationship skills./li /ul pstrong /strong/p pstrongPhysical Demands/strong/p ul liMust be able to lift to 50 pounds.
