This person will be responsible for non-linear editing. Must be able to work weekday and weekend afternoons and evenings. If you#96;re looking to get your foot in the door, this job#96;s for you. Must be very organized, motivated, responsible, and reliable/li/ulp/pullispanOrganizes and strings together raw footage into a continuous whole according to scripts or instructions for newscasts and other programming/span/lilispanReviews assembled footage on screens or monitors to determine whether corrections are necessary/span/lilispanTrims filmed segments to specified lengths and reassembles segments into sequences that present stories with maximum effect/span/lilispanDetermines the specific audio and visual effects necessary to complete spots/span/lilispanSets up and operates computer editing systems, electronic titling systems, video switching equipment, and digital video effects units to produce a final product/span/lilispanSelects and combines the most effective shots of each scene to form a logical and smoothly running story/span/lilispanConfers with other personnel to discuss assignments, work product and desired effects./span/lilispanMaintains editing equipment/span/lilispanPerforms other duties as assigned/span/li/ulpspan /spanuspanRequirements amp; Skills/span/uspan:/span/ppspan /span/pullispanHigh school diploma/span/lilispanFluency in English/span/lilispanExcellent communication skills, both oral and written/span/lilispanMinimum two years’ experience operating video editing equipment/span/lilispanProficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment/span/lilispanProficiency with video editing equipment/span/lilispanAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously/span/li/ul
