As a Controls Electrician, this candidate can showcase their talents. This candidate will lead small crews who install DDC / PLC systems related to critical building systems including HVAC, lighting, building automation, security/keycard access, closed circuit television and energy management. /span/p pbr/p pspan style="text-decoration: underline;"span style="font-weight: bold;"Job Duties:/span/span/p ul lispan style="font-size: 14px;"Installation of temperature control systems, key card access, and video surveillance systems/span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Installation of DDC/PLC Control systems related, but not limited to: temperature control systems, Electromechanical equipment, lighting, and building access/security systems./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Installations include running conduit, pulling wire, field device/control panel install and terminations of all devices required for the system application./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Install system hardware such as electrical conduit, sensor wiring, power supplies, control system enclosures, etc./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Assist with checkout for system functionality and performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements and shop drawings/sequence of operations, etc./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Complete documentation of all work done, including as-built drawings, wire layouts, etc./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Provide daily project status updates and communication to the Project Management team./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Serving a key role in the continual improvement and development of the department overall, they are expected to serve as both mentor and role model for level I II Technicians./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Communicate with vendors, engineers, owners, service managers, and other contractors to ensure jobs are completed within scope and on budget./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Perform layout, plan, and execute small jobs while leading a small crew./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Perform quality assurance checks./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Install activities will include layout of control panel, junction boxes, and operator stations. Control systems must be compliant with best Electrical practices, adhering to relevant NEC code as well as NFPA 70E safety guidelines./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Additional duties as needed./span/li /ul pbr/p pspan style="text-decoration: underline;"span style="font-weight: bold;"Required Skills and Abilities:/span/span/p ul lispan style="font-size: 13px;" /spanspan style="font-size: 14px;"Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Able to read and understand wiring diagrams and blueprints./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" An up to date understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC)./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Problem solving skills including troubleshooting./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" HVAC service, or installation is a plus./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Ability to work with others and follow instructions. /span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Must have experience with building control panels./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Electrical service, or installation experience is a must./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Ability to bend conduit correctly, pull wire, mount panels, and terminate./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Able to read PLC or DDC schematics and terminate properly without hesitation./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" DDC/PLC Controls install experience with some or all of the following equipment: HVAC, VFD’s, boilers, generators, heat exchangers, pumps, fans, modulating valves, fluid flow and air flow systems, heat trace, electrical and controls systems./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Strong mechanical aptitude./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Computer skills including proficiency in the use of Windows based PC’s and Windows based applications is a plus./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;" Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment./span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;"Experience operating Scissor Lift and/or Boom Lift/span/li /ul p /p pspan style="text-decoration: underline;"span style="font-weight: bold;"Benefits:/span/span/p ul lispan/spanspan style="font-size: 14px;"Shift Travel Pay Differential, Paid Travel, Lodging, Mileage and Per Diem when traveling/span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;"Tuition Sponsorship and Reimbursement Options Available/span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;"Health, Dental, Vision, Company Paid and Voluntary Life and ADD, Simple IRA, Short- and Long-Term Disability/span/li lispan style="font-size: 14px;"Holiday and paid off time available according to company policies/span/li /ul
