divp id="isPasted"strongJob Description:/strong/ppThe Tasting Room Server is responsible for ensuring that guests are offered an enjoyable visit reflecting/ppthe high customer service standards of Mount Palomar Winery. They ensure all details of service are/ppperformed properly and every guest receives the highest quality of service. A Tasting Room Server must/ppmaintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude toward guests, other employees and/ppmanagement staff. This is a sales position. Tasting Room Servers are expected to sell to every guest and/ppmaintain a minimum sales goal./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pp Pleasantly educate our guests on wine, pour tastings and glasses and sell wine and club/ppmemberships to guests while maintaining safe and friendly environment./pp Inform guests of their tasting options and sell according to their desires./pp Sell wine and wine club memberships meeting individual and group sales goals./pp Ensure bar and service area is organized, clean and neat at all times./pp Replenish supplies in the tasting bar area, including wine, beer, glassware, napkins and other/pprelated items./pp Be prepared to describe products served and make recommendations as requested./pp Recognize and notify management of any problems resulting from guest complaints,/ppintoxication or disruptive behavior./pp Notify management of unsafe conditions, needed maintenance of tables, chairs, carpet and/or/ppequipment and any accidents./pp Follow all procedures when responding to any emergency or safety situation./pp Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate./ppstrongQualifications/strong:/pp Minimum six (6) months experience working in sales and customer service./pp Has the ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment while practicing exceptional/pporganizational and time management skills./pp Must be reliable, available weekends, holidays and special events which are peak volumes/pptimes./pp Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs./pp Knowledge of types of wine, beer and other beverage related items./pp Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks./pp Excellent communication skills, professional appearance, and naturally friendly./ppstrongPhysical Requirements:/strong/pp Stand, Squat or Kneel Frequently/ppWalk Constantly Bend Constantly/pp Lift/carry 11-20 lbs Constantly/pp Reach Outward Constantly/pp Lift carry 21-40lbs Frequently/pp Reach above shoulder/pp Push/pull 26-40lbs Frequently/pp Sense of Sound (Hear verbal requests by guests, coworkers and managers)/pp Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception)/pp Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Non Slip shoes, back belt if lifting over/pp20lbs, safety glove when using knife)/ppstrongWork Environment:/strong/pp Mount Palomar is a working winery with production spaces, event spaces, vineyards, and guest/ppareas.
