develops and implements curriculum activities that correlate to the pupils' objectives/p /li li pMonitors learning and adjusts teaching strategies and activities accordingly/p /li li pUses proper spelling and grammar, oral and written/p /li li pCompletes records accurately/p /li li pPrepares a written pre-planned daily schedule of pupil/class lessons and activities/p /li li pUtilizes a variety of materials and teaching techniques/p /li li pShares materials and plans with others; attends meetings as required; conducts all pupil-related procedures in compliance with State regulations and time lines/p /li li pAttends staff meetings as called by the supervisor/p /li li pItinerant assignment - work/teach in a variety of settings and complies with Monterey County Office of Education Board Policies and Administrative Regulations./p /li li pPhysical, mental and emotional stamina to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position/p /li li pManual dexterity sufficient to write, use telephone, business machines and specialized classroom equipment/p /li li pVision sufficient to read printed materials/p /li li pHearing sufficient to conduct in-person and telephone conversations/p /li li pSpeaking ability in an understandable voice with sufficient volume to be heard in normal conversational distance, and on the telephone/p /li li pPhysical agility to push/ pull, squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, reach overhead, climb and move quickly or run after a child in an emergency situation/p /li li pPhysical mobility sufficient to move about the work environment (office, district, school or home site-to-site), drive a van or automobile, and respond to emergency situations/p /li li pPhysical strength sufficient to lift 45 pounds alone and more with a two-person lift/p /li li pPhysical stamina sufficient to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time;
