Amity is committed to research, development implementation, and dissemination of information regarding community building./divdivinbsp;/i/divdiviRemembrance, Resolution, Reconciliation, Restoration, Renewal/i/divdivinbsp;/i/divdivbAbout the Position:/b/divdivbr/divdivspan style="font-size: 10pt;"The bPeer Navigator/b instructs CBI Life Skills and Family Relations Programming./span/divdivbr/divbr/br/divFull-Time/divdivonsite work schedule: 5 days/week in office/divdivOffice/divbr/br/bWhat You Will Do:/bbr/liFacilitate CBI Life Skills and/or Family Relations classes using evidence based and standardized curriculum to the participants./lidivbr/divli· Conduct class and facilitate individual sessions to develop action plans and/or provide make-up work; this does not include developing relapse prevention plans./lidivbr/divli· Evaluate and document progress of participants assigned to their classes./lidivbr/divli· Engage participants daily, reinforce group norms and expectations for participation and completion/lidivbr/divli· Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS./lidivbr/divli· Work collaboratively with the CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff./lidivbr/divli· Performs other related duties as assigned./lidivbr/divbr/br/bWhat You Will Bring:/bbr/liEducation and Experience:/lidivbr/divliRequired:/lidivbr/divli· High school Diploma or equivalent/lidivbr/divliPreferred:/lidivbr/divliCertifications or Licenses:/lidivbr/divliRequired:/lidivbr/divli· Peer Navigators must be certified by CalMHSA./lidivbr/divliPreferred:/lidivbr/divli· N/A/lidivbr/divliSkills/Abilities:/lilibr/lili· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail./lidivbr/divli· Ability to foster teamwork and cohesiveness./lidivbr/divli· Excellent written and verbal communication skills./lidivbr/divli· Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures./lidivbr/divli· Ability to maintain confidential information./lidivbr/divli· Ability to operate general office equipment./lidivbr/divli· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software/libr/br/bWhat We Offer:/bbr/liMedical, Dental, Vision./liliPaid vacation, sick time, amp; holidays./lili401K, HSA, amp; Life insurance programs./liliOrganization committed to community action./liliCommunity oriented workplace./li
