h4Description/h4pThis is an On-Call positionnbsp; located at our adult residential care facility in Monterey, CA.. Our facilities specialize in providing services to adults with mental health disabilities while promoting healthy living and wellness in a spectacular setting.nbsp;/p
pstrongSUMMARY/strong: Provide care and supervision to residents as required by Title 22, Community Care Licensing Division. Assist residents with activities of daily living. May prepare meals and provide housekeeping for residents as needed. Implement and assist residents to comply with their individual Appraisal/Needs and Services Plans. Perform overall management of medication room, its systems and supplies, and enforces adherence to FSI medication policies, procedures and protocols./p

pstrongResident Care/strong/p
ul
liIn a culturally competent manner, will provide services to all residents without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, age, sex, religion, and handicap or payment status./li
liAssist residents with daily living activities including cooking, cleaning, showering, hygiene and grooming, and other personal care assistance./li
liProvide necessary resident care and supervision as prescribed by doctors, other health care providers, and as developed by the residentrsquo;s treatment team./li
liSafely assist residents with self-administration of prescription and non-prescription medications in accordance with physiciansrsquo; orders and Title 22./li
liAssist with planning and implementing individualsrsquo; treatment plans in conjunction with other staff, family and providers./li
liMonitor and report changes in residentsrsquo; physical and mental health status to the residentrsquo;s primary care providers and facility staff./li
liAssist in identifying and accessing medical, educational, social, prevocational, rehabilitative or other community services for residents./li
liMonitor and report residentsrsquo; progress and outcome data./li
liTrack and schedule residentsrsquo; annual dental and physicianrsquo;s exams including TB tests./li
liTransport residents to appointments, outings, etc./li
liOther duties and responsibilities as assigned./li

liAbide by the principles of good nutrition, food preparation, storage, menu planning, cooking, clean-up, food safety and follow Title 22 and food service principles./li
liConduct menu planning with residents, adhering to special diets as physician prescribed./li

liBe knowledgeable on housekeeping and sanitation principles. Perform housekeeping duties. Maintain living areas, including resident rooms and community areas./li

liGives capable residents the opportunity to participate in the planning, preparation, conduct, clean-up and critique of the activities./li
liAdheres to monthly schedule of planned activities./li

liMandated to report any suspected abuse of dependent adults and elders directly to Law Enforcement, Adult Protective Services, Ombudsman, or Community Care Licensing./li

liHigh School diploma or GED; one year mental health experience may be required; or equivalent combination of education and experience./li

liMust be at least 18 years of age./li
liIf required to drive, must be 21 and accepted by the Companyrsquo;s vehicle insurance./li
liCleared by the Department of Justice and FBI prior to commencing work at the facility./li
liTB clearance within the last 6 months and yearly thereafter. Pass a health screening./li
liMaintain a valid First-Aid certification./li
liMay be required to serve on company committees./li
liAble to answer telephone professionally, understandably, and with proper etiquette./li
liComplete all annual training requirements as mandated by Community Care Licensing Division, Title 22 and Front St. policies./li
liAttend mandated meetings and trainings; fulfill all coursework and training hours required./li
liComplete coursework, training hours and pass the Medication Policies and Procedure Examination./li
liValid water safety certificate may be required for facilities with a resident-used pool./li
liWork in a safe and acceptable manner, following established safety procedures./li
