div h4Job Details/h4 divstrongJob Location/strong: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Homewood by Hilton - Columbus - Columbus, OH/div divstrongSalary Range/strong: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;$15.00 - $15.00 Hourly/div /div h4Description/h4pstrongDepartment: /strongFront Office/p pstrongSupervisor Title: /strongFront Desk Supervisor, Assistant General Manager, General Manager/p pstrongJob Summary: /strongTo ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by attending to the beverage needs of the guests in an efficient and courteous way./p pstrongResponsibilities/strong/p ulliSet up bar, unlock liquor, prepare glassware, juices and garnish/li liAccept drink orders in proper calling order to keep service at the bar at optimum level of service for our guests./li liMake and serve drinks to guests./li liFollow all procedures and policies regarding beverage controls as prescribed by standards./li liEnsure all drinks are rung up properly./li liBe fully responsible and accountable for an issued bank./li liFill out liquor requisitions and supply list./li liFollow proper procedures for ringing guest checks and cash collecting procedures./li liMake sure established pars are maintained./li liPerform all side work duties according to side work schedules./li liKeep all bar areas neat and clean./li liObserve Clean-As-You-Go policy./li liPick-up your bank and guest checks for prescribed area./li liSet up your bar./li liBreak down bar, lock up liquor, and store fruit and juices properly./li liMake cocktails in accordance with beverage standards using the Berg system, standard jigger as applicable. NO FREE POURING!/li liAttend department meetings./li liWork safely at all times./li liBe flexible in regard to work schedule./li liReport to work on time and in proper and clean uniform, including name tag./li liHandle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules and standards./li liConform to cash handling procedures at all times./li liBe knowledgeable about daily hotel operations. Be up to date with all changes, new procedures and events./li liHave knowledge about guest rooms, locations, amenities, features and all other services offered by the hotel./li liAssist fellow associates in their jobs when able to improve daily operations of the hotel./li liHave knowledge about all emergency procedures and know how to act on them./li liHave knowledge about the city, the local area and attractions to provide the guests with all requested information./li liWhen leaving the bar area, it is mandatory for the cashier to lock his/her bank so the cash is secured./li liReport any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager./li liGreet all guests immediately and offer assistance before the guest needs to ask. Focus your total attention on the guest./li /ululliBe aware of current guest service scores, and be able to understand guest comments and needs. Be an active participant in achieving the GSS goals of the hotel./li liMust have a valid drivers license, Proof of insurance and pass as approved/li /ulp driver.
