Exposure occurs to Dietary Services employees who handle and wash dishes, trays, and silverware, which may be contaminated by potentially infectious materials./span/span/p p style="text-align:justify"span style="font-size:12pt"span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"strongOther Environmental Conditions/strong/span/span/p p style="text-align:justify"span style="font-size:12pt"span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"The staff members of the Dietary Services Department will be exposed to:/span/span/p ol li style="text-align:justify"span style="font-size:12pt"span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"A hot, humid atmosphere resulting from cooking and water vapors from the dishwasher;/span/span/li li style="text-align:justify"span style="font-size:12pt"span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Sudden temperatures changes when entering refrigerators or freezers;/span/span/li li style="text-align:justify"span style="font-size:12pt"span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Potential burns from stoves, hot foods, hot pans and dishes, and hot utensils;/span/span/li li style="text-align:justify"span style="font-size:12pt"span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Potential cuts from knives, the meat slicer, and the sharp edges of opened cans;/span/span/li li style="text-align:justify"span style="font-size:12pt"span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Hazardous chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing;/span/span/li li style="text-align:justify"span style="font-size:12pt"span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Potential injury from falls on slippery floors;
