This is a full-time position with medical, dental, vision and 401k benefits offerings./p pSUMMARY: Assist the Residential Services Manager as needed in performing administrative functions at the facility. Provide care and supervision to residents as required by Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, and Title 22. Perform overall management of medications, and enforce compliance with regulations and Companyrsquo;s medication policies and procedures. Assist with initial and on-going medication training. Assist residents with activities of daily living. May prepare meals and provide housekeeping for residents as needed. Implement and assist residents to comply with their individual Appraisal/Needs and Services Plans. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions./p pstrongESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily./p pstrongResidential Care/strong/p ul liIn a culturally competent manner will provide services to all residents without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, age, sex, religion, and handicap or payment status./li liProvide necessary resident care and supervision as prescribed by doctors, other health care providers, and as developed by the residentrsquo;s treatment team./li liAssist residents with daily living activities including cooking, cleaning, showering, hygiene and grooming, and other personal care assistance./li liSafely assist residents with self-administration of prescription and non-prescription medications in accordance with physiciansrsquo; orders and Title 22./li liAssist with planning and implementing individualsrsquo; treatment plans in conjunction with other staff, family and providers./li liMonitor and report changes in residentsrsquo; physical and mental health status to the residentrsquo;s primary care providers and facility staff./li liMonitor and report residentsrsquo; progress and outcome data./li liTransport residents to appointments, outings, etc./li liAssist in identifying and accessing medical, educational, social, prevocational, rehabilitative or other community services for residents./li liTrack and schedule residentsrsquo; annual dental and physicianrsquo;s exams including TB tests./li liAssist in the initial and on-going staff training on medication policies and procedures./li liConduct regular medication audits to ensure accuracy in facility medication management./li liOther duties and responsibilities as assigned./li /ul pstrongCooking/strong/p ul liAbides by the principles of good nutrition, food preparation, storage, menu planning, cooking, clean-up, food safety and following Title 22 and food service principles./li liConducts menu planning with residents and adheres to Physician prescribed special diets./li /ul pstrongCleaning/strong/p ul liBe knowledgeable on housekeeping and sanitation principles. Perform housekeeping duties. Maintain living areas, including resident rooms and community areas./li /ul pstrongActivities (As Designated)/strong/p ul liOrganizes, conducts and evaluates planned activities./li liGives capable residents the opportunity to participate in the planning, preparation,/li liconduct, clean-up and critique of the activities./li liEncourages, directs and supervises the participation of volunteers in planned activities./li liPosts schedule of planned activities in a central facility location readily accessible to clients, relatives, and representatives of placement and referral agencies.
