The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CT scanning equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. Key duties include preparing and positioning patients, conducting and analyzing scans, and adhering to radiation safety protocols. The CT Tech will also be responsible for equipment calibration, quality assurance, and compliance with California Department of Public Health (CA DPH) regulations. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient care are essential, along with maintaining active licensure and ongoing training./p p /p pCT Tech Summary of Job Responsibilities:/p pbrbr/p ul liCT Techs must be able to operate and maintain CT scanning equipment, ensuring functionality and safety./li liPrepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and explaining procedures./li liConduct and analyze CT scans, ensuring image quality and accuracy./li liAdhere to radiation safety protocols and minimize exposure risks./li liCT Techs need to ensure in quality assurance, equipment calibration, and regulatory compliance./li liEducate patients and provide post-scan instructions./li liCT Techs are responsible for their compliance with CA DPH regulations and maintain licensure and training standards./li /ul p /p pQualifications:/p p /p ul liMinimum one year experience as a CT technologist in a hospital/li liAssociate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Radiologic Technology/li liAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R)(CT) /li liCalifornia Dept. of Public Health (CRT)/li liCalifornia Dept. of Public Health Fluoroscopy Permit/li liVenipuncture Certificate/li liProof of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) if applicable/li liCurrent CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross/li liMust have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers./li liMust have Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months/li liCurrent Annual Health Clearance/li /ul p /p pbrbr/p pemQuality Temp Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
