Electrician - Full-time / Part-time

pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Job Overview/span/p pThis position performs electrical service and repairs, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response in accordance with relevant codes./p pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:/span/p ul liPerforms installations of switchgear, transformers, panel boards, lighting systems, emergency systems, and distribution equipment for setup and teardowns of events.br/li liTroubleshoots electrical problems in Automatic Transfer Switches, power distribution circuits, and lighting control circuits to ensure the proper function of electrical systems.br/li liRepairs breakers, contactors, starters, motors, wires, and cables to ensure the proper function of electrical systems when failures occur.br/li li Inspects equipment and facilities to determine condition and needed repairs to ensure the safety and security of the areas.br/li liConnects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.br/li liTests electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.br/li liInspects electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.br/li liDiagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.br/li liAssembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixtures using hand tools or power tools.br/li liResearches and prepares parts inventory for services and repairs.br/li liPractices good physical work methods, utilizes good work habits, and meets established production standards.br/li liUses standard methods, practices, supplies, tools, and equipment to complete tasks.br/li liWears proper personal protective equipment and works in a safe work environment at all times.br/li liMaintains cleanliness of work area and ensures a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment.br/li liPerforms other related duties as assigned or requested when needed./li /ul pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Qualifications/span/p ul liOne year of varied experience as a journey level electrician.br/li liPossesses a valid driver’s license.br/li liExcellent customer service and ability to work cooperatively with team members and others./li /ul pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold;"Working Conditions/span/p ul liWork environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risk that require following basic safety precautions.br/li liExpose to dust, dirt, fumes, chemicals, and unpleasant odors.br/li liWorks around large crowds and loud noise.br/li liMoves for sustained periods.br/li liMoves objects at least 50 pounds.br/li liWorks a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary./li /ul
