Mover - Non-CDL Box Truck Driver

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mover/Box Truck Driver. The ideal candidate will have prior moving experience, expertise in safely loading and unloading furniture and household goods, and the ability to operate a box truck efficiently. This role requires physical strength, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to ensuring a smooth and stress-free moving experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Safely load, transport, and unload furniture, appliances, and other household or office items
• Operate a box truck in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Protect and secure items to prevent damage during transport
• Communicate professionally with customers, addressing their needs and concerns
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
• Work with a team to execute efficient and organized moves
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance

Requirements:

• Previous moving experience (residential or commercial)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL not required but preferred)
• Experience driving a box truck (26ft)
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependability and a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed
