On-Call Care Pro

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers—we call ours Care Professionals—to become a part of our team and join our mission of expanding the world’s capacity to care. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
The On-Call Carepro is a designated Care professional who is available to provide care for any and all clients as needed by the On-Call Coordinator.

Hours: Friday 4pm - Monday 8am. Care professional would be on-call during this time period to work any shifts as needed by the On-Call Coordinator.
Pay: $18 p/h for any shifts worked. A stipend pay will be granted for being on-call.

WE cannot guarantee hours, you may end up working several shifts in a weekend, or none at all. This position is Part-time.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care
• Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)

*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead*

This position requires candidate to have the ability to work any and all shifts that may need filled in the hours assigned. Travel will be required throughout our service area.
