Orthopedic Surgery, Washington D.C. VA Medical Center seeks Orthopedic Surgeon

The primary duties & responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Review past orthopedic history, examine the current status of the patient, with orthopedic problems.
• Accurately and timely completion of all clinical notes.
• Evaluate new patient referrals to the clinic.
• All diagnosis and treatment with follow-up will be consistent with guidelines of the Orthopedic Clinic, clinical privileges and standard of care within the community. 
• Participate in team approach to the patient care with medical staff, ancillary staff, residents, students and other services, patients and family members. 
• Perform clinic-based procedures, adhering to the ethical principles of an Orthopedic Surgeon, and medical professional as a whole.
• Appropriately assist with the Resident Training Program.
• Maintain all medical education requirements as outlined by the Veterans Administration Medical Center. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Hours: Monday through Friday; 8:00am 4:30pm. (On Call, when needed)
