Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medicine Opportunity - Edna, TX

Southwest Medical Associates is looking for a BC/BE physician with ER experience to join us on a supplemental basis in Edna, TX. Located about 25 miles northeast of Victoria, and roughly 100 miles southwest of Houston. This hospital serves a rural community and provides top quality care for a diverse population. 

• Level IV Trauma Center
• 5 ER Beds
• Staff physicians: 2 FP; 1 Pedi, 4 FNP's
• 20% Trauma, 30% Pediatric, 25% Geriatric
• Requires:  ACLS, ATLS, PALS & CME 9 Trauma related per yr.
• Patient Volume: 12 patients a day
• Referral Centers: DeTar, Citizens-Victoria, San Antonio Methodist, Houston Memorial, Corpus-Pediatric   
• Lab and X-Ray available 24/7
• Cat Scan and MRI available
