RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Full-time position with every other weekend requirement
\n• No on-call responsibilities
\n• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
\n• Epic experience required
\n• Care for cardiac and telemetry patients (not a stepdown unit)
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA
\n• RN License in state of employment or compact required
\n• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
\n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
\n• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process
\n• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects
\n• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
\n• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
\n• Provide patient and family education and identify learning needs
\n• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
\n• Complete annual competency verification requirements
\n• Temporary to permanent opportunity available
