Registered Nurse (RN) – Dialysis | Day Shift
Location: Ohio
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12-Hour Shifts
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- On-call rotation required
- Every other weekend required
We are seeking an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join a highly skilled renal care team. This role provides In-Center Hemodialysis (IHD) services both within the dialysis unit and at the bedside for critically ill ICU patients who are unable to travel. The team also assists with connecting and disconnecting patients receiving peritoneal dialysis treatments.
Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective hemodialysis treatments for acute and chronic renal patients.
- Deliver bedside dialysis care for ICU patients requiring IHD.
- Monitor patients throughout dialysis treatments and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records.
- Assist with peritoneal dialysis connection and disconnection procedures.
- Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotations as assigned.
Required:
- Minimum 18 months of permanent Dialysis experience
- Active Ohio RN License OR Compact RN License in hand at the time of submission
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Facility primarily utilizes Fresenius dialysis machines
- Comprehensive orientation provided on facility-specific equipment and workflows
- CRRT is not performed by the Dialysis Department (managed by ICU nurses)
