• Case Mix: Malignant and benign hematology and oncology patients

FACILITY INFORMATION
• Office Equipment Available: Standard infusion clinic and Hem/Onc practice
• Specialty Backup Available: On-site Hem/Onc physicians
• Support Staff Available: Infusion and clinic support team
• Reason for Coverage: Locum coverage for clinical services

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: Not specified

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Hematology/Oncology patient assessments and follow-up
• Independent management of benign hematology cases preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Connecticut license
• Experience: Hematology Oncology experience required; must be comfortable with outpatient infusion care
• Other Qualifications: Strong preference for APPs who can manage benign hematology independently

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide direct patient care to Hem/Onc patients in an outpatient setting
• Independently manage benign hematology cases if qualified
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and infusion center staff
• Document clinical care per facility standards
• Deliver consistent weekday coverage with no weekends or holiday expectations
