Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Coverage Needed :

• Call shifts are mostly 24 hours from Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM
• August 18, 2025-Ongoing
  • 7am 8/18 - 7am 8/25
  • 7am 9/5 -7am 9/8
  • 7am 9/19 - 7am 9/22
  • 7am 10/10- 7am 10/13
  • 7am 12/19-7am 12/29

Clinical Details :

• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Call Type: Beeper, for assigned patients
• Average Call: 5-10 phone consults per 24 hours
• Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes after notification
• Patients Seen: 12-15
• Call Back Percentage: Less than 10%
• STEMI call is required
• Facility is Chest Pain Accredited
• Support services include EP and CV Surgery
• 3 APPs assist with general rounding during the week
• On-site nuclear stress test, echo, and cardiac rehab
• EMR System: MediTech
• Beds in Department: 138 hospital
• Rounding: Assigned Patients
• Generally no outpatient caths required, only inpatient (approximately 30 heart cath cases are scheduled from inpatients)

Requirements :

• Board Eligible
• Fellowship Required
• Arkansas License
• ACLS, BLS
