🩺 Registered Nurse – Stepdown / IMCU Float Pool

\n ⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
\n 🚀 Start: 07/20/2026
Shift: Night – 3x12 Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
\n• ASAP start required
\n • Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per month
\n • Holiday coverage required as needed
\n • Floating required within skill set as needed
\n • No RTO permitted from July 5–18
• Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Float Pool
\n • Float assignment to units within scope of practice based on staffing needs
• Active North Carolina RN License or Multistate Compact RN License required
\n • Minimum 2 years of IMCU, Telemetry, or PCU experience required
\n • Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience required
\n • EPIC experience required
\n • BLS Certification required
\n • ACLS Certification required
\n • PALS Certification required
\n • NIHSS Certification required
• Previous float pool experience
\n • Strong intermediate care and telemetry background
• Intermediate Care/Stepdown nursing experience
\n • Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
\n • IV starts and IV management
• Patient assessment and monitoring
\n • Cardiac rhythm interpretation
\n • Emergency response and critical care skills
• EPIC documentation proficiency
\n • Multidisciplinary patient care coordination
• Provide comprehensive care to IMCU/Stepdown patients
\n • Float within assigned skill set to meet staffing needs
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
\n • Perform IV starts and maintain vascular access
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond to rhythm changes
\n • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
\n • Deliver safe, high-quality patient-centered care
• Participate in required weekend and holiday coverage
