Actual earnings will vary based on factors such as: restaurant brand, experience, education, geography, applicable minimum wage, unit volume(s), hours worked amp; potential overtime pay./pbr /pstronguPosition Purpose: /u/strong/ppPrepares, cooks, stores, and cuts whole chicken as well as other grilled products.nbsp; Cleans and sanitizes entire work area./ppstronguPlacement in the Organization:/u/strong/ppReports to Assistant and General Manager./ppstronguResponsibilities/Duties/Activites:/u/strong/pulliFollows company food handling and safety procedures./liliRotates and organizes products in storage areas using the FIFO method of rotation./liliInspects whole chickens and other raw meats for acceptable quality standards./liliPrepares, marinates and seasons whole chicken./liliThaws and stores all other raw meats to projected needs./liliMaintains proper levels of whole chicken and other meats cooking throughout shift based on projections and actual business activity./liliCooks whole chicken and other grilled products according to company standards./liliReceives orders and cuts whole chicken; arranges chicken for proper presentation on plate or in packaging./liliCuts, stocks, and rotates all other grilled products according to company standards and projected needs./liliMonitors quality of cooked chicken; takes correct action when hold time expires or when product quality fails to meet company standards./liliNotes holding time of grilled products./liliMaintains and ensures that all cooked meat products are at proper serving temperature./liliRegularly assists expediter and burrito assembly person./liliCleans and sanitizes entire work area including all equipment, tools, and storage containers./liliAssists in training new cooks./liliPeriodically performs additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor./liliStores shipments of food products using the FIFO system of rotation./liliRotates and organizes products in walk-in using the FIFO method of rotation./liliInspects all cold food product ingredients for acceptable quality standards./liliPrepares and packages all cold food products, according to projected needs, per company quality standards./liliMoves packaged items to proper front line and drive-thru coolers,; stacks and rotates products./liliCleans and sanitizes entire work area including all equipment, tools, and storage containers./liliAssists in training new cold prep persons./liliPeriodically performs additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor./li/ulpstronguQualification Standards:/u/strong/pulliMust have sufficient mobility to move or operate in work area./liliMust meet government regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling./liliMust be able to understand and follow company recipes./liliMust have basic math skills, including units of measurement./liliMust be able to observe an ensure product is prepared and presented to company standards./liliMust be at least 18 years old to cut chicken./li/ulpstronguPhysical Requirements:/u/strong/pulliAbility to move up to 75lbs., with assistance, required./liliReaches, bends, stoops, scrubs, lifts, and wipes./liliEmpties trash bags weighing up to 40 lbs./liliMust have high level of mobility/flexibility./li/ululliMust be able to work under heavy stress/pressure during peak times./liliExposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold and odors./liliRequires continual standing and walking./li/ulpnbsp;/ppstrongunbsp;/u/strong/ppnbsp;/p
