Maintenance Mechanic work involves performing tasks throughout the plant for regular and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, analysis and repair of assets and related components pertaining to phosphate production facility. br/br/divWages start at $36.63/hour and may progress to higher job classifications based on qualifications, in accord with the labor contract./divdivbr/divbr/br/bKey Responsibilities/bbr/liReceive and discuss daily work orders pertaining to removing, repairing, and installing machinery and equipment in the fieldnbsp;/liliCommunicate with unit operations to ensure work site has been prepared to avoid interfering with activities of other workers/liliFollows lockout-tag out procedures, checking for documentation of entry permit and check to make sure lines are closed and locked/liliDismantles the failed equipment (motors, pumps, etc.) using hand and power tools such as hammers, wrenches, crowbars, etc. and transports to the shop using hoist, lift trucks, dollies, and rollers/liliAssess the failed equipment, orders replacement parts using procurement computer program, and assembles the equipment with the new parts/liliRe-install the machinery after prepping the supporting surface and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten machinery to the foundation/liliAlign machines and equipment using micrometer and plumb bobnbsp;/liliPerform check for leaks and ensure equipment is operating efficientlynbsp;/libr/br/bShift/bbr/liDay Shift Mechanic – 1stnbsp;shift (6:30 am-2:30 pm) Monday - Friday/lidivnbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp;OR/divliRotating Shift Mechanic – 1stnbsp;shift (6:30 am-2:30 pm), 2ndnbsp;shift (2:30 pm-10:30 pm), 3rdnbsp;shift (10:30 pm-6:30 am) Monday – Sunday/liliInitially assigned to 1stnbsp;shift for training for 6 months, then will be assigned to 1st, 2ndnbsp;or 3rdnbsp;shift based on business needs.
