Senior Structural Engineer - Full-time

pstrongGeneral Job Description:/strongistrongnbsp;/strong/i/p pThis position is responsible for independently delivering engineering services, with a proven track record of excellence from conceptual design through construction completion./p pnbsp;/p pstrongEssential Duties amp; Responsibilities/strong/p ul liExpert in project planning, coordination, and executionnbsp;/li liIndependently complete conceptual design through construction drawing development for large complex project or multiple projects simultaneously/li liAppropriate engagement of engineering applications and/or managers in project decisions/li liProactively communicate and coordinate project designs with Project Management, Construction and Service departments, Controls, and other trade partnersnbsp;/li liField engineering: assist with project execution, trade coordination, scheduling, document management and problem solving/troubleshooting, as required/li liEffectively and professionally communicate with colleagues and project team members/li liExpert level understanding of building codes, structural guidelines, and best practices/li liManage time to meet project schedules and task deadlines/li liExcellent understanding of ACCO engineering standards and project execution processes/li liEquipment anchorage calculations and PE wet stamped installation package including BOM/li liEquipment vibration isolation calculations and PE wet stamped installation package including BOM/li liDesign roof top duct and pipe supports, and PE stamped installation package including BOM/li liRiser duct and pipe supports, and PE stamped installation package/li liSeismic restraint calculations for duct and pipe/li liRoof structure verification of existing structures for equipment replacement/li liStructural design of equipment skids/li liDesign of supplemental steel for equipment, duct or pipe supports including BOM/li liCreate templates and standard designs for supports, attachments and seismic bracing that creates an economy of scale that is cost effective to install and build/li liOther duties as assigned by Manager/li /ul pstrongPosition Requirements:/strong/p ul liBS in Structural or Civil Engineering/li liProfessional Engineer license highly desirable, but not required. Work hours are established by the local manager and generally begin and end between 7:00 am to 8:00 am start and 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm end, with one-hour break for lunch and two rest breaks. Eight hours per day is required and other occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs./p pstrongCompetitive Wages:/strong/p p$56.07 to $72.78 per hour.
