His or her primary responsibilities include selling and serving food and drinks in a professional manner and providing exceptional service to guests./ppstrongPrimary Responsibilities/strong/pulliServe 3 ndash; 4 tables, as determined by management./liliComplete knowledge of hotelrsquo;s food and beverage preparation./liliAble to use a computer to ring orders on a check./liliAble to interact with guests in a friendly/fast manner./liliAble to accept different types of payment and make change./liliMaintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant./liliClear and reset tables./liliCheck identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. Refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age./liliIf consuming alcoholic beverages, observe guests behavior, and monitor alcoholic consumption./liliTreat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guestsrsquo; expectations./liliReport to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential./liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpstrongEducation/Experience/strong/pulliHigh school diploma or GED preferred/liliMinimum of 6 months server experience preferred/liliExperience in hospitality preferred/liliPossess basic math skills and cash-handling/liliLicenses, certifications - applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card or ability to obtain as needed./li/ulpstrongPhysical Requirements/strong/pulliWalking and standing throughout shift/liliFrequent walking with some standing at times/liliFrequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs/liliAble to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly/liliReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions/li/ul
