Provide initial advisement to students and supervision of clinical experiences. Duties are performed in the context of a comprehensive community college, understanding of the community college mission and philosophy will be critical to success.p style="text-align:left"buDuties amp; Responsibilities/u/b/ppbESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:/b/pullipProvide instruction within a clinical facility./p/lilipSupervise patient care, physical assessments, and the administration of medications./p/lilipCollaborate with the Nursing Program Director regarding student performance./p/lilipProvide ongoing and timely feedback to students regarding clinical performance, paperwork, and documentation./p/lilipMaintain student and client information in a confidential manner./p/lilipPlan student assignments in relation to the student’s level and the course objectives./p/lilipAssist students to acquire appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes required of professional nurses./p/lilipCommunicate clearly with students and colleagues. /p/lilipEstablish and maintain an effective learning environment in the clinical setting./p/li/ulp/ppbADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/b include but are not limited to:/pullipPerform additional duties as assigned./p/li/ulp style="text-align:left"ubMinimum Qualifications:/b/u/ppbPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: /b/ppRequires frequent and continuous sitting/moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills, and lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 35 lbs./pp/ppbSCHEDULE DETAILS:/b  /ppMust be available to work a minimum of 20 hours and maximum of 29 hours per week. Clinical shifts are 0600-1500 or 1400-2300. Scheduling of shifts is based on program need.
