ERC Rehab Therapiesp/pp/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"Compensation range:/p$50.50 - $68.18p style="text-align:left"spanYour rate of pay will be based on applicable experience/span/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pShift: Days Shift length: 8 HoursbrDays off: Variable brHours per pay period: 12-24p/ppPOSITION SUMMARY:br /The Speech Therapist is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment upon physician referral to a patient population consisting of varying spandiagnosis/span.  The Speech Therapist will assess, identify and treat all areas of deficits impacting communication, cognition and swallowing.  The Speech Therapist provides instruction and education to the patient/caregiver to promote the safe execution of the facilitatory techniques taught.  /ppEDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:br /Desired:br /One year experience in acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, mental health or outpatient setting. /ppLICENSES/CERTIFICATION:br /Minimum:br /Current Speech Pathologist license from the State of California Board of Speech-Language Pathology amp; Audiologybr /Current Certificate of Clinical Competency by the American Speech, language, Hearing Association (within 60 days of hire) (current membership is not required)br /Current CPR recognition/ppSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:br /Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family.
