This individual will rescue swimmers in distress, apply resuscitation, and administer emergency care when needed.brbrbrPosition is contingent upon Campus Operations/COVID-19 Restrictions.p style="text-align:left"buDuties amp; Responsibilities/u/b/pulliWill ensure water safety and enforce all safety rules in and out of the water./liliWill constantly observe participants in the pool. /liliMaintains pool and pool equipment; assists in other routine activities relating to pool operations, such as college activities, etc. /liliMaintains order and discipline among swimmers and other persons at the pool. Assists supervisor in carrying out pool procedures. /liliMust be able to work nights, evenings, weekends, holidays and flexible schedules./li/ulp/pdivRequires frequent sitting and moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills, and pushing and pulling of up to 100 lbs./divp style="text-align:left"ubMinimum Qualifications:/b/u/pdivMust have a Valid Lifeguard Certification. Must be able to pass a swimming performance test. Must have effective communication skill and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
