Starting rate for this position is $28.36 per hour with the potential to grow to $39.55 per hour based on skill level and experience./font/span/ppspan style="font-family: Verdana;"strongfont size="2"What You’ll Do/font/strong/span/pullispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Read and understand equipment drawings and blueprints.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Perform routine preventative maintenance duties.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Cut, weld, and perform fabrication work with different types of steel.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Assess repairs and estimate time frames to complete.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Repair machinery in a timely manner.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Identify mechanical and hydraulic problems and assist in findings solutions and making necessary repairs.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Identify shaft sizes, measure up, and build shafts for replacement.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Identify and change sprockets, bearings, and chains etc.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Communicate directly and professionally with operators about how equipment is running to learn about any problems.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Communicate effectively and professionally with the Planning and Scheduling Departments.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Adhere to an absolute lock-out policy, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, and tested to ensure isolation.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Submit work requests.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Fill out completed work orders listing work done, parts used, and the time it took to complete the job./font/span/li/ulpspan style="font-family: Verdana;"strongfont size="2"What You Offer/font/strong/span/pullispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"2 to 4 years of millwright level experience.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"High School Diploma/Equivalent Preferred.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Prior manufacturing/warehouse/lumber operations experience preferred.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Ability and desire to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Demonstrated commitment to safety.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Excellent attendance record.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, climbing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs./font/span/li/ulpspan style="font-family: Verdana;"strongfont size="2"Who We Are/font/strong/span/ppspan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Interfor is a growth-oriented forest products company, operating in all major forest products markets across North America.
