High School and WCA Summer School 2025

pnbsp;/p pnbsp;Summer School dates are Monday-Thursday from June 2-June 28, 2025.nbsp; Hours are from 7:30-12:30./p pnbsp;/p pnbsp;/p pnbsp;/p pstronguEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/u/strong/p pnbsp;/p ol liEstablishes and implements classroom procedures designed to maximize student learning./li liPrepares detailed weekly lesson plans for each assigned student consistent with the studentrsquo;s IEP. Timely submits plans to assigned principal./li liPrepares and presents lessons consistent with written lesson plans and best education practices. Complies with all Individualized Education Plans./li liUses formative and summative data to guide instruction and monitor progress toward IEP goals./li liMonitors student progress toward IEP goals./li liMaintains a neat and orderly classroom, including the physical arrangement of the room, student records, and materials./li liHandles routine classroom discipline fairly./li liMonitors student behavior in areas outside of the classroom, during lunch, recess, bus time, general education classes, and school assemblies./li liPrepares and timely submits all required reports and evaluations for each assigned student./li liCompletes all required special education paperwork in a timely manner to meet compliance deadlines./li liAttends and participates in all required meetings and conferences, including professional development and planning meetings./li liMaintains complete and accurate student records, including attendance, performance and discipline records./li liProvides professional and regular feedback to students and parents, ensuring compliance with all laws and district policies and procedures./li liParticipates in appropriate professional development opportunities./li liComplies with all federal, state and local laws and board policies and procedures./li liUtilizes professional behavior in all school-related interactions./li liPlans and coordinates the work of teacher assistants, parents, and volunteers in the classroom and on field trips./li liCreates a classroom climate conducive to learning through functional and attractive displays, learning centers and exhibits of student's work./li liProvides a technology enriched environment to support student learning./li liMaintains contact with parents and/or students via phone or written communications./li liFacilitates and coordinates students in general education classes./li liMonitors studentsrsquo; general health./li liPerforms all other tasks as supervisor may assign./li /ol pnbsp;/p
