Set up and remove folding tables and other equipment for lunch, recreation, or special events./li /ol pstrongemDaily/em/strongem:/em/p ol liClose assigned building each evening, including ensuring that all students are out of the buildings, lights are off, thermostats are set, windows and doors are locked, rooms are check for fire hazards, etc./li liClean and disinfect bathroom sinks, walls, toilets and floors./li liSpray, disinfect and deodorize assigned building./li liClean, disinfect and maintain water fountains./li liSweep and mop all hallways and rooms./li liVacuum all carpets./li liEmpty all trash receptacles./li /ol pemnbsp;/em/p pstrongemWeekly/em/strongem:/em/p ol liClean all windows, woodwork, metalwork and door mats./li liDust lockers./li liInventory and order custodial supplies in accordance with district purchasing procedures./li /ol pstrongemMonthly/em/strongem:/em/p ol liPolish linoleum, tile and hardwood floors./li liDust blinds./li liInspect fire extinguishers, lights and ballasts, and HVAC filters./li /ol pnbsp;/p pstrongemWinter Inclement Weather:/em/strong/p pIn the event school is cancelled due to winter precipitation, restore safe parking lots, walkways, steps, etc. prior to classes resuming. This includes plowing, shoveling, de-icing and sanding./p pstrongemSummer:/em/strong/p pDuring summer break, conduct seasonal and annual maintenance rather than daily tasks./p ol liClear each classroom of all equipment and strip, clean and seal floors./li liShampoo carpets./li liPaint as needed./li liMove furniture./li liOrganize cleaning procedures./li liPerform non-routine maintenance./li liPick up outside trash./li /ol pstrongemOther:/em/strong/p ol liComplies with all federal, state and local laws and board policies and procedures./li liUtilizes professional behavior in all school related interactions./li liAssists in maintaining seasonal grounds work (snow, lawn, spreading ice melt)./li liCleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment etc in the building./li liRestocks disposable items and provides head custodian with inventory usage and data./li liAssists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up need equipment./li liMaintains building and grounds security in the building each working day./li liPerforms all other tasks as supervisor may assign./li /ol
