Maintains knowledge of the various seafood products.nbsp;Answers and responds to the customer’s questions and inquiries.nbsp;Obtains assistance from a supervisor or manager if unable to resolve any customer inquiry or special request.nbsp;Takes the customer to the location of product(s) in question.nbsp;Provides customers with serving suggestions for various seafood products.nbsp;/pp2. * Receives, unloads and checks invoices for incoming fresh and frozen seafood merchandise and/or supplies.nbsp;Takes daily and monthly fresh and frozen inventory.nbsp;Assists in the inventory.nbsp;Orders back-stock and supplies.nbsp;Makes and documents transfers to other stores.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/pp3. * Cuts, wraps, prices and displays seafood products (fresh and frozen).nbsp;Cuts aku or ahi fillet for poke.nbsp;Cuts fish for fillets or steaks as needed.nbsp;Packs various seafood items such as shellfish, shrimp and imitation crab meat.nbsp;Heads and guts whole large fish.nbsp;Scales and cleans whole small fish.nbsp;Also makes various sushi.nbsp;nbsp;/pp4. * Ensures the quality and freshness of all products in the showcase.nbsp;Repacks, rewraps and re-prices items when needed.nbsp;Pulls back dated products.nbsp;nbsp;Posts signs and labels to ensure proper pricing for the seafood products.nbsp;Executes price changes.nbsp;Checks for price discrepancies and notifies the Price Coordinator.nbsp;nbsp;/pp5. * Stays abreast of store specials and sales/marketing promotions to better service the customer.nbsp;Informs the customer of the company’s latest promotional offerings and/or specials.nbsp;Answers customer’s questions regarding any store specials and/or sales/marketing promotions.nbsp;Assists with promotional sales.nbsp;nbsp;/pp6. * Assists in the maintenance of the department.nbsp;Ensures showcases meet company standards.nbsp;Maintains and cleans the showcases and the department area.nbsp;Cleans the equipment, wrapping and pricing stations.nbsp;Cleans the cutting room to include tables, sink, saws and the entire work area.nbsp;Empties all rubbish./pp7.
