In-Home Caregiver/Assisted Living Caregiver - Full-time / Part-time

pstrongIn-Home Caregiver/Assisted Living Caregiver /strongare called Global Caregivers. They are caregivers who work with clients in their home as well as with residents at Valley VNA's assisted living campus. This position is a hybrid position that provides the right candidate with variety and flexibility./p h3strongIn-home caregiver responsibilities:/strong/h3 ul liNew personal care assistants shadow other in-home caregivers and learn detailed information about the healthcare needs of our clients, such as bathing, dressing and other daily tasks, as well as reporting and documenting skills./li liIn-home caregivers help clients with a wide range of daily activities./li /ul pstrongemHere's what you will do!/em/strong/p ul liPersonal care/li liCompanionship/li liMeal preparation/li liAssist with errands/li liLight housekeeping/li liFollow Client Care Plan and provide updates as needed./li /ul pstrongemWe offer a referral bonus to our full-time and part-time employees!/em/strong/p h3strongAssisted living care/strongstrong responsibilities:/strong/h3 ul liRead and implement individualized service care plans./li liProvide personal cares and/or assistance to residents for activities of daily living./li liMonitor resident's health, document changes and report changes to the shift manager./li liCheck vitals weekly, or more often, if needed./li liUpdate resident records by documenting daily observations./li liEngage resident in conversation or activities throughout the day./li liOther duties as assigned./li /ul h3strongCaregiver qualifications:/strong/h3 ul liPrior caregiving experience and/or CNA-certified providing care to the elderly, required./li liExcellent communication and customer service./li liAbility to exhibit empathy and compassion when faced with challenging dementia behaviors./li liHighly motivated to accomplish tasks and ensure the well-being of residents./li liAbility to work independently with minimal supervision./li liValid driver's license./li liReliable transportation with liability auto insurance./li /ul
