Heat Pourer - 1st amp; 2nd Shift

Other duties may be assigned:/span/p ul lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Prepares molds, ingots, slag pits, and tests blocks to receive metal./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Adds hot topping after pouring to open heads as required./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Removes overhead metal from the top of molds./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Knocks clamps off boxes per part number instructions./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Knocks metal icicles from nozzle between pours and burn nozzles when required./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Drags slag into pits./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Removes pouring bar after all metal is poured./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Removes ladle to make up area for reuse./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Ensures ladle safety instructions are followed at all times./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Fills in for Heat Pourers or Ladle Helpers when required./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Hooks chains when required./span/li lispan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"Follows job work instructions and training matrix, where applicable./span/li /ul br / pspan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"strongCompetency:/strong/span/p pspan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: demonstrates attention to detail; analyzes information skillfully; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness: is consistently at work and on time; displays willingness to make decisions; reacts well under pressure; observes safety and security procedures./span/p pspan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"strongQualifications:/strong/span/p pspan style="font-size:12pt;font-family:'times new roman', times, serif;"To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
