They monitor camera systems and complete perimeter checks outside and inside the building, properly record events that arise including interactions with law enforcement, monitor the ‘Good works credit program’, maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, co-workers as well as yourself..nbsp;/ppRequirements/ppstrongFunctional Relationships/strong/pulliReports to Housing amp; Property Managernbsp;/li/ulpstrongCollaborates with/strong/pulliOther Resident Support Staffnbsp;/liliAssigned Case Managersnbsp;/liliMembers of the EMG Property Management teamnbsp;/li/ulpbr//ppstrongRESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/ppstrongResident Support/strong/pulliUnderstanding the vulnerable nature of the community we are serving and being empathetic to their needs.nbsp;/liliActively listening to the needs of residentsnbsp;/liliAssist in the tracking of the ‘Good Works Program’.nbsp;/liliAssist with activities for the residents that occur on site.nbsp;/li/ulpstrongDocumentation/strong/pulliClearly document any violation of Apartment rules to be actioned by the property managementnbsp;/liliClearly document behavior changes, for case managers to action.nbsp;/liliClearly record any non-emergency/emergency incidents or activities that could become a safety concernnbsp;/liliLogging of use of building equipment available to residents, such as Wagons, Laptopsstrong./strong/li/ulpstrongProfessional Boundaries/strong/pulliMaintain appropriate boundaries with the residents by being empathetic yet professional.nbsp;/liliFollowing the Switchpoint Code of Conduct in relation to professional boundaries.nbsp;/liliReporting any potential conflicts of interest to your manager, even if it is an indirect COI.nbsp;/li/ulpstrongBuilding Safety/strong/pulliCompletes regular perimeter checks inside and outside the building.nbsp;/liliLocking and unlocking door systems.nbsp;/liliMonitor camera systems and log activity.nbsp;/liliLogging approved visitors with proper identification.nbsp;/liliHandle security issues/complaints by involving non-emergency dispatch or 911 for emergency services when necessary.nbsp;nbsp;/li/ulpstrongOther Duties/strong/pulliMaintain a clean work environment in the assigned areanbsp;/liliAssist with the preparation of cleaning items for the ‘Good Works Program’.nbsp;/liliTasks as assigned by manager and reasonable requests by Property Management after consultation with team leader.nbsp;/li/ulpstrongREQUIREMENTS:/strong/pulliHuman Services experience preferred but not essential.nbsp;/liliAbility to function in a team environmentnbsp;/liliCPR Certificationnbsp;/liliEffective Note Taking/Record keepingnbsp;/liliComputer Skills (especially Office 365 Suite and Google Suite).nbsp;/liliAttention to detailnbsp;/liliOrganization Skillsnbsp;/liliPhysical fitness as climbing stairs is regularly requirednbsp;/li/ulpstrongCOMPENSATION/strong/ppStarts at $16/hour and Caps at $18/hour.nbsp;/ppbr//ppSwitchpoint offers a benefits package that includes Medical/Vision/Dental, Transportation Allowance, Paid Time Off, 401K/ppbr//ppemWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
