p style="text-align:left"ubCompensation:/b/u/p$700 per credit hourp style="text-align:left"buspanspanspan class="WMX2"Compensation Type:/span/span/span/u/b/pSalaryp style="text-align:left"ubEmployment Type:/b/u/pp style="text-align:left"buGrade:/u/b/pp style="text-align:left"buDepartment:/u/b/pInstructionp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"ubPosition Summary/b/u/pUnder general supervision of and in accordance with Clovis Community College and departmentally established practices and expectations, adjunct instructors work collaboratively with other faculty within the College and their discipline to ensure that key concepts of the specific discipline are addressed.p style="text-align:left"buDuties amp; Responsibilities/u/b/ppbspanDUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES/span/b/pullipTeaching assignments may vary depending on the specific qualifications and expertise of the individual /p/lilipThe Instructor will provide students with a complete syllabus containing course outcomes and competencies /p/lilipPresent well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus/p/lilipContinually promote development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving, assessment, and decision-making; provide students with timely information and feedback on academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework, and projects/p/lilipMaintain accurate, up-to-date records of student academic performance; and possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of all college policies/p/lilipUse technology tools including, but not limited to, Canvas, Starfish, e-mail, MS Office, and the Internet.  /p/lilipRequires continuous movement within the College, continuous sitting and handling of small objects such as paper and pen.  /p/li/ulp/ppbspanPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: /span/b/ppRequires frequent and continuous sitting/moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills, and pushing and pulling of up to 20 lbs./pp/ppbspanSCHEDULE DETAILS:/span  /b/ppMust be available to work 40 hrs. per week with normal work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
