Licensed Mental Health Professional - Full-time

div div!--block--We are looking for an experienced Licensed Mental Health Professional to provide services to the detention adult amp; juvenile patient population in a correctional setting. Days and evenings shifts availablebrAccepting: strongLCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC/strong/divdiv!--block--br/div/div h2Key Responsibilities/h2 divdiv!--block--Responsible to meet with incarcerated individuals both in the medical unit and in the housing units to evaluate current/past mental health issuesbrbr/divdiv!--block--· Responds to mental health emergencies throughout the facilitybrbr/divdiv!--block--· Conducts individual counseling and other possible therapies such as group counseling, substance abuse counseling, anger management, etc.brbr/divdiv!--block--· Collaborates with the psychiatric practitioner regarding patient status and treatment neededbrbr/divdiv!--block--· Monitors psychiatric medication compliance and report to Health Services Administrator and psychiatric practitionerbrbr/divdiv!--block--· Delivers care in accordance with established MedTrust Policies and Proceduresbrbr/divdiv!--block--· Makes referrals to appropriate community resources in preparation for release from custodybrbr/divdiv!--block--· Communicates concerns regarding patient safety and behavior to appropriate medical and security personnelbrbr/divdiv!--block--· Initiates involuntary hospitalization paperwork for patients requiring inpatient mental health treatment outside of the correctional facilitybrbr/divdiv!--block--· Communicates the need for special housing to appropriate medical and security personnelbrbr/divdiv!--block--· Conducts daily rounds on patients experiencing mental health crises and determines appropriate housing recommendationsbrbr/divdiv!--block--· Thoroughly documents all patient encounters in electronic or paper medical record in accordance with MedTrust Policies and Proceduresbrbr/divdiv!--block--· Attends special needs and Medical Administrative Committee meetings with detention administration and mandatory monthly staff meetings with medical staffbrbr/divdiv!--block--· Other duties as necessarybrbr/div/div h2Skills, Knowledge and Expertise/h2 divdiv!--block--Active, unrestricted license in the state of Wyoming: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC strong(REQUIRED)br/strongbr/divdiv!--block--Minimum 1 year clinical experience after licensure strong(REQUIRED)br/strongbr/divdiv!--block--Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers through American Red Cross or American Heart Association strong(REQUIRED)br/strongbr/divdiv!--block--Corrections experience preferredbrbr/div/div
