This role includes the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment, including vegetation spray systems—under the supervision of the Shop Manager./ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pulliPerform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on diesel, gasoline, and spray equipment./liliTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and spray system issues./liliConduct inspections and test drives to ensure safe operation./liliMaintain accurate repair records and shop inventory./liliAssist with equipment fabrication and custom builds./liliEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standards./liliRespond to emergency breakdowns in the field when required./lilistrongDuring downtime, assist vegetation spray crews in the field, including railroad vegetation management operations./strong/li/ulstrongQualifications:/strongulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in mechanics preferred./liliValid driver’s license with a minimum of 5 years of clean driving history required./liliClass B CDL preferred but not required./liliProven experience repairing heavy trucks (both gas and diesel)./liliWelding experience required./liliSkilled in using hand tools and power equipment, including chainsaws, trimmers, and blowers./lilistrongAbility to travel within Iowa up to 2-3 days away at a time if needed. /strong/liliExperience working on sweepers, catch basin trucks, and tractors required./liliWillingness and flexibility to work overtime is needed./liliMust supply your own set of tools./li/ulstrongAdditional Information:/strongpstrongBenefits/strong/pulliChallenging and rewarding work environment/liliCompetitive Compensation/liliExcellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan/lili401(K)#xa0;/liliGenerous Paid Time Off/liliCareer Development/li/ulpstrongPay rate: $25.00+ hour depending on experience.#xa0;/strong/ppstronguCome be a part of the DeAngelo family, today!#xa0;/u/strong/ppDCS is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all hiring and employment regulations.
