Maintaining a cleaning schedule that will include cleaning of floors, chalkboards, wastebaskets,nbsp;/spanspan style="font-size: 10pt;"windows, furniture, equipment and restrooms. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"2. Keep school building and grounds, including sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and play areas neat and clean. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"3. Comply with local laws and procedures for storage and disposal of trash. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"4. Assist in maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and request additional supplies as needed./span/p pnbsp;/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"strongMaintenance and Repair/strong/span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;" 5. Assist with lunchroom set up, including arranging tables and chairs. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"6. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the comfort, health and safety of students and staff. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"7. Make minor building repairs as needed and report major repair needs to Maintenance Department. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"8. Move furniture or equipment within building as directed by principal. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"9. Assist in setting up facilities for special events. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"10. Work overtime in the course of job duties, when required. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"11. Act professional with fellow employees and students and follow District policies./span/p pnbsp;/p pstrongspan style="font-size: 10pt;"Safety /span/strong/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"12. Assist with opening and closing building each school day. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"13. Follow established procedures for locking, checking and safeguarding facilities./span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;" 14. Check daily to ensure that all exit doors are open and all panic bolts are working properly 15. Inspect machines and equipment for safety and efficiency. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"16. Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures./span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;" 17. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"18. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"19. Report accident to Head Custodian. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"20. Follow all safety procedures of Victoria Independent School District. /span/p pspan style="font-size: 10pt;"21.
