With six locations in the Natural State (Arkansas), opportunities abound./em/p pstrongPOSITION SUMMARY:nbsp;/strongAn Automotive Technician, often called Service Tech, will maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles within the service bay. Provides accurate information to the service manager and service advisors, concerning vehicles that are processed through the company for business purposes.nbsp;/p pstrongWHAT WE OFFER:/strong/p ul liMedical, Dental and Life Insurance/li liVision Insurance/li liShort term and long-term disability/li li401K/li liPaid time off/li liClosed on Sundays/li /ul pstrongESSENTIAL DUTIES:/strong/p ul liPerform vehicle repair, multi-point inspection, and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards/li liComplete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing/li liCommunicate with parts department and service advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication/li liDiagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the Customer/li liMake appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of customer vehicles/li liDocument work performed on each vehicle on the repair order/li liMaintain an inventory of normal technician's tools not normally inventoried by the service department as special tools/li liKeep aware of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate/li liRoad-test vehicles to ensure quality work as needed/li liCommunicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work/li liComply with company safety policies and procedures/li liEfficient and accurate work in accordance with dealerships and factory standards/li liContinuously learn new technical information and techniques/li liAttend technician training courses, as requested by service manager/li liMay be asked to train and/or mentor other coworkers, as needed/li liMay be asked to speak with or ride with customers, if authorized by supervisor/li liConduct business in an ethical and professional manner/li liPerforms other job-related duties as assigned/li /ul pstrongADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/p ul liMaintain professional appearance in accordance with the employee handbook/li liMaintain an organized, safe, and clean shop area/li liExpected to arrive to work on time and work required shift/li liFollow instructions from supervisor/li liInteract effectively with co-workers/li liReceive feedback from supervisor in a positive manner/li /ul pstrongQUALIFICATIONS:nbsp;/strongTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
