Barback

pWe are looking for an observant, efficient barback who can work with other staff members to ensure that our customers receive prompt, seamless service. The bar back will assist in cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring the bar is well stocked with napkins, straws, glassware, garnishes, and all other necessities, and taking on other duties to support the bartender and ensure that the bar operates smoothly. You should be knowledgeable about menu items, attentive, and focused on providing the best possible service in a fast-paced environment./ppTo be a successful barback, you should be passionate about working as part of a team to deliver excellent drinks and service to customers. You should be efficient, reliable, and perceptive with excellent communication and time management skills./ppbr/ppstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/strong/pulliMaintains high knowledge regarding company's products and happenings events./liliEffectively communicates such to guests/liliMaintains the cleanliness of bar, counters, glassware, and utensils/liliStocks the bar initially with liquor, beer, wine, juices, mixes, glassware, utensils, cocktail napkins, garnishes, condiments, etc. and provides aid to the bartenders in re-stocking and maintaining par levels of those items./liliDocuments inventory use, spills, and waste accordingly Stocks refrigerating units with wines, beer, etc. Changes empty beer kegs/liliMonitors coolers for proper temperature. Reports deficiencies to management in a timely manner/liliMaintains adequate supply of ice to all bars/liliEmpties trash cans at the bars on a regular basis. Ensures all trash cans at the bars are cleaned and lined with garbage bags/liliCleans and stocks the supply room where all bar products are stored/liliNotifies manager/supervisor of low inventory and recommends new inventory. Assists bartenders with cleaning and breakdown of the bars at the end of each shift/liliCompletes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned/liliAssists in training new employees within the department in accordance with company standards/liliFollows proper lifting and carrying techniques.
