pstrongDELI SERVICE MANAGER/strong/p pstrongStatement of the Job/strong/p pProvide excellent customer service while preparing food service menu items for sale.nbsp; Promote deli sales by maintaining warmer cases according to build guides and holding times. Work with Franchise Business Consultants to further the success of Franchised Food Service areas./p pstrongspan style="text-decoration: underline;"The Duties and Responsibilities Are/span/strong/p pA. General Management/p ul liPerform all tasks as assigned by the Store Manager./li liDevelop work schedule for all deli shifts with Store manager./li liMust be available to cover shifts as needed./li liEnsure all concepts have items available throughout hours of service./li liMaintain a safe and fun work environment./li liHave and maintain valid ldquo;Food Managers Licenserdquo;./li liAssist Store Manager with applicant interviews and hiring./li liTrain and continue to train all team members assigned to the deli (food safety, date, label, product rotation, etc.)./li liOrder and manage deli food/supply to maintain established pars./li liPerform and record accurate monthly deli inventories./li liMeet and exceed both Hot Stuff and Chester standards./li liPass all state and Steritech inspections./li liDevelop and implement shift duties./li liDevelop and implement cleaning schedules (daily, weekly, monthly)./li liDevelop and implement prep lists./li /ul pB. Personnel/p ul liResponsible for alerting the Store Manager to personnel situations or policy violations that may have an adverse effect on the storersquo;s operating performance./li /ul pC. Security/p ul liProtecting company assets at all times./li liReport security concerns to Store Manager whenever a situation occurs/li liBe able to react to a fire by lifting a fire extinguisher weighing 25 pounds and moving it to the fire area./li /ul pD. The Requirements for the Job/p ul liBe able to read, write, and communicate in the English language./li liBe able to perform arithmetical calculations at the eighth-grade level and account for a number of products during vendor check-in./li liHave sufficient visual acuity to operate handheld devices./li liBe able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for short distances./li liBe able to stand, bend, kneel, and reach for up to 10 hours./li liBe able to climb a ladder./li liBe able to work around hot ovens and in deli areas occasionally warmer than average room temp./li liBe able to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 38 degrees up to 60 minutes at a time./li liBe able to enter and work in a freezer at -10 degrees up to 20 minutes./li /ul pE.
