We are looking for an strongAdvanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/strong to join our growing team and help us in our vision to give back lives, reunite families, and heal communities that are suffering from the devastating effects of substance use disorder./ppbr//ppstrongThe Role:/strong/ppAs a provider with Ideal Option, you get the opportunity to join our fight against the opioid crisis. You’ll be helping patients through some of the lowest and darkest points of their lives. You’ll then be in a position to help patients reclaim their lives. You’ll witness firsthand the impact Ideal Option makes in communities across the nation. Additional responsibilities include:/ppbr//pp• In office assessments of patients to determine appropriateness of office-based buprenorphine therapy/pp• Obtain History of present illness, past medical history, current medications and allergies/pp• Perform review of systems/pp• Perform complete physical examinations/pp• Establish diagnosis and develop appropriate plans for treatment/pp• Refer patients for appropriate counseling/pp• Daily co-sign patient charts/pp• Induction of patients onto buprenorphine/pp• Manage gradual induction onto the appropriate dose of buprenorphine/pp• Assess for any immediate negative side effects/pp• Follow up and Maintenance Evaluations/pp• Follow up recently induced patients to determine current state on buprenorphine/pp• Perform clinical evaluations of patients on an ongoing and periodic basis to be determined by physician/pp• Obtain and interpret appropriate lab data/pp• Follows appropriate guidelines and use of telehealth communications with each patient and office/ppbr//ppstrongBenefits:/strong/ppAt Ideal Option, we offer our employees a competitive and comprehensive benefits program to recognize how important you are to the company.
