Join the Pinwheel Pasta staff and work alongside our Executive Chef and culinary team to launch our beautiful new restaurant./ppTHE ROLE:/ppOak Quarry is seeking a talented Server/Cashier to join our Front of House department. Selected candidates will be responsible for supporting our General Manager and Executive Chef in executing our service operations./ppRESPONSIBILITIES:/pullipThe primary function is prompt, efficient service and professionalism. The wait staff’s first and foremost function is the service of food and beverage. The strength and sincerity of the image of the facility should reflect at all times through a friendly, courteous and helpful attitude./p/lilipProvides immediate attention to all guests upon seating./p/lilipDescribes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item. Offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate./p/lilipTakes food and beverage orders for guests./p/lilipFollows up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed./p/lilipParticipates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests./p/lilipMaintain organized workstation and side work duties./p/lilipResponsible for accountability of all checks and transactions./p/lilipIncorporate safe work practices in job performance./p/lilipFollow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders./p/lilipFollow established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food and delivery and general service techniques./p/lilipPractice positive teamwork and communication with co-workers, management, and kitchen staff./p/li/ulpQUALIFICATIONS:/pullipNo prior experience or training/p/lilipMay be required: to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; to write simple correspondence; to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other associates of the organization./p/lilipFrequently stand and walk; talk and hear.
