This position will work in a fast-paced production environment to produce high quality printed garments. This position is responsible for DTG related tasks such as: picking orders, staging orders, inspection of garments, drying of garments, set up and operation of pad printers as well as set up and operation of direct-to-garment printers. This position is also responsible for keeping machines in operating conditions and informing leadership if there are any production or equipment issues./span/p p /p pspanstrongJOB DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/span/p pspanPerform DTG related tasks including, but not limited to: picking orders, staging orders, inspection of garments, drying of garments/span/p pspanSet up and operation of DTG machinery including, but not limited to: DTG printers, pad printers, and garment dryers/span/p pspanReview job order to determine quantities to be printed, stock specifications, colors, or special printing instructions/span/p pspanFollow daily production schedule to ensure customer orders are produced for delivery on time/span/p pspanEnsures all impressions and locations on each garment are completed/span/p pspanTroubleshoot job issues and collaborate with teams on solutions/span/p pspanMust be able to adapt with minimal or no advanced notice on different product and business needs/span/p pspanMaintain equipment as needed for optimal operating conditions/span/p pspanPerform job duties according to standard operating procedures and within standard productivity measurements/span/p pspanPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager/span/p p /p pspanstrongJOB REQUIREMENTS amp; QUALIFICATIONS/strong/span/p pspan1 year of related experience preferred/span/p pspanHigh school diploma or equivalent required, technical vocational school preferred/span/p pspanFamiliarity with Windows and basic computer functions knowledge required/span/p pspanExcellent attendance record/span/p pspanPossesses basic math skills/span/p pspanAbility to read work orders, procedures, and policies, and follow instructions as required/span/p pspanDemonstrated ability with troubleshooting/span/p pspanAn appreciation of Zumiez culture and the ability to integrate well/span/p pspanTeam player, positive attitude, energetic, committed, competitive/span/p pspanAttention to detail and excellent organizational skills/span/p pspanAdheres to quality and safety protocols/span/p pspanAbility to work flexible or irregular hours which may include weekends and holidays/span/p pspanAbility to work in a fast-paced environment/span/p p /p pspanstrongPHYSICAL DEMANDS amp; WORK ENVIRONMENT/strong/span/p pspanAbility to lift up to 50 pounds/span/p pspanAbility to stand and move around within a production or warehouse environment for extended periods of time without limitation/span/p pspanAbility to distinguish colors and inspect materials on product/span/p pspanAbility to use hands to handle or feel product/span/p pspanAbility to work in warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery/span/p
