Position: Board-Certified Endocrinologist

Location: Dothan, Alabama

Overview:

VHS is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Endocrinologist for a full-time, outpatient-only position in Dothan, AL. Join a well-established healthcare team in a thriving community, offering a balance of professional fulfillment and work-life harmony.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care at a single clinic location, with no inpatient or hospital responsibilities.
• Manage a diverse patient population presenting with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances.
• Collaborate closely with a team of primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and ancillary staff.
• Utilize onsite laboratory and radiology services to facilitate prompt diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in precepting medical students and residents, contributing to the training of future healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligible in Endocrinology.
• Valid state medical license or ability to obtain licensure in Alabama.
• Proven experience in outpatient endocrinology preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive base salary complemented by additional compensation for after-hours call duties.
• Signing bonus of $100,000.
